​Lifeguard responsibilities
-
Open the pool each day and close it down each evening, depending on schedule and hours.

Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues.

Direct swimmers out of pool in hazardous conditions.

Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool, by vacuuming, skimming, and cleaning tiles.
-
Provide Assistance to patrons when appropriate and necessary.

Test water every 2 hours

Lifeguard Skills

Current and Valid Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
-
First Aid/CPR/AED Certified
-
Hourly pay starting $14.13 an hr (can earn more with experience)
Lifeguard Certification Training Provided
Manager/Assistant
Full-Time
Part-Time
Manager/Assistant Manager responsibilities
-
Manage staff schedules
-
Hire and train new staff
-
Oversee lifeguards
-
Inspect facilities for repair and maintenance
-
Keep accurate records of visitors
-
Report Problems and request service calls

Requirements and Qualifications
-
A high school diploma or equivalent
-
At least 21 years old
-
Vehicle is a plus
-
Lifeguarding experience a plus
-
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications a plus
-
Hourly pay starting Manager- $20 an hr Assistant -$17.50+ an hr
